The holiday season is upon us, and what better way to get into the festive spirit than with a delightful and creative DIY activity? Pilot Pen got a fantastic project that combines the joy of crafting with the magic of decorating your Christmas tree – handmade painted baubles!
Materials You’ll Need:
Thin cardstock
A round object for tracing
Craft Glue
Twine
Sellotape
Scissors
LET THE FESTIVE BEGIN!
STEP 1: Trace and Cut
Start by tracing around a round object to create four circles on your thin cardstock. Once you've traced them, grab those scissors and cut them out with care. This is the beginning of your bauble masterpiece!
STEP 2: Let Your Creativity Shine
Now comes the exciting part – decorating! Unleash your artistic flair by using the vibrant PILOT Pintor Paint Markers to add colour, patterns, and festive designs to each of your circles. Whether it's classic Christmas motifs, personalised messages, or a mix of both, let your imagination run wild!
STEP 3: Fold and Secure
Take each of your decorated circles and fold them in half. This will give your baubles a lovely 3D effect. Secure a piece of twine to the back of one circle using Sellotape. This twine will serve as the hanger for your beautiful bauble.
STEP 4: Glue and Adhere
Spread a thin layer of craft glue on the back of each folded circle. Press the circles together, creating a spherical shape. The glue will securely hold them in place, forming a charming bauble that's ready to adorn your Christmas tree.
STEP 5: Hang With Joy
The final step is to proudly hang your handmade bauble on the tree! Admire the festive creation you and your little ones have crafted together. These personalised ornaments will add a special touch to your holiday decor and create lasting memories.
So, gather your supplies, clear a crafting space, and get ready to embark on a joyful journey of creativity with this DIY painted bauble activity. Happy crafting and happy holidays!
